Remove the back of the dryer and check the thermal fuse first. On a gas dryer the thermal fuse is inline with the gas valve. Part# 3392519 If it checks good here's how to remove the front panel: Remove the lint filter and the two screws right below it. Use a putty knife or something similar to release the two clips in the front corners between the top and front panel.
Lift the top up and lean it back out of the way. Remove the two screws on the inside holding the front panel to the two sides. Lean the front panel forward and disconnect the door switch connector. Pull up on the front panel to release it from the two lower clip. Remove the back of the dryer and check the thermal fuse first.
